Ster-Kinekor Snack Prices: Combos, Discounts and SK Club
Ster-Kinekor publishes snack savings through its subscriptions and SK Club. This guide covers South African offers in rand (R). A nationwide cash price for individual popcorn and drinks was not verified; use your selected cinema’s menu for the final amount.
Regular combo discounts with subscriptions
| Plan | Published subscription fee | Snack benefit |
|---|---|---|
| Fan Club | R289 per month | 20% off a regular combo |
| MORvies Club | R399 per month | 20% off a regular combo |
These amounts are membership fees, not combo prices. Ster-Kinekor advertises these subscriptions for South Africa. Compare the ticket benefits and your expected visits before paying for a subscription solely for food savings.
SK Club popcorn and combo rewards
| Reward | Points required |
|---|---|
| Popcorn | 400 |
| Regular combo | 800 |
SK Club is free to join. The official FAQ lists 100 points for a regular combo, 200 for a sharing combo and double points on Thursdays. Identify your membership when purchasing and check your balance before redemption. The half-price Tuesday benefit concerns tickets; it does not establish a half-price snack offer.
How to check the price for your visit
- Select the exact cinema and screening on the official website.
- Compare the listed regular combo with separate popcorn and drink purchases of the same sizes.
- Check whether the displayed total already includes your membership benefit.
- Keep the receipt if you need to query missing points.
Frequently asked questions
How much is Ster-Kinekor popcorn?
The reviewed sources publish points redemption and subscription discounts, but do not establish one cash popcorn price for every cinema. Check the local concession menu.
Is a sharing combo discounted by 20%?
The subscription page specifies a regular combo. Do not apply that percentage to a sharing combo unless the current offer explicitly includes it.
